Welcome to The Lawless Report.  We hope you enjoy our interactive web newsletter. It provides day-to-day stories, breaking news, headlines and other pertinent news of the day. The Lawless Report was the brainchild of Ronald Lawless, educator. He sought to provide a place to gather information from a community perspective, to overcome a lack of information (and misinformation) disseminated by some leaders and media outlets. It will also provide a place for you to share your opinions and suggestions, as well as a forum to ask questions of both experts and neighbors.

 The Lawless Report will feature international, national and local news from a community perspective. Most of the local news will include issues regarding the West Side of Chicago, Oak Park, Maywood, Bellwood, Forest Park, Broadview, Hillside and other towns in Proviso Township.  

We have designed the website to be helpful in providing you with information that will help you with concerns in your daily lives.

 Ronald Lawless was born in Chicago and raised on both the North and West Sides. He now resides in Oak Park and continues his extensive involvement with Chicago's West Side.

 We hope this website will help you make decisions that affect your life. Lawless’ articles now appear in both Austin and Garfield/North Lawndale weekly newspapers. 

Lawless is an educator and expert on No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  He is a strong advocate for parental involvement and quality education.

 He believes in the crafting a government that will: 

  • Renew committee to hard-working taxpayers
  • Reform programs and services that improve the lives of taxpayers
  • Revitalize  economic opportunities
  • Rebuild confidence in local solutions;
  • Restore citizens’ faith in the values and principles of accountability, responsibility, and common sense.
